Description
Carruthers, a member of the British Foreign Office, accepts an invitation to go sailing with his friend Davies. The reason given for the outing was to go duck hunting, but Davies actually wants to enlist Carruthers aid in solving a mystery. Davies recently encountered a German yacht which almost caused him to be stranded and shipwrecked. Together the two amateur sleuths uncover a German plot to invade England by landing in Lincolnshire.
